Intel Officially Launches First WiMAX Chipset – April 18, 2005
Intel officially launched its first WiMAX chipset, Monday launching what it hopes is a new era of wireless broadband access. The company was to hold press conferences in London, Shanghai and Washington D.C. to unveil its Intel PRO/Wireless 5116 chip, which had been code-named Rosedale.
